Black Beauty/Strong Beautiful Queen

Historically black women have been left out of big conversations.  Although their contributions were sometimes overlooked in both the Civil Rights and Women’s Movements, their power, resilience, and courage cannot be overstated. Black women have a distinctive standpoint from which to understand the intersection of race and gender and their unique experience of oppression.   Even today they continue to be victims of racial oppression, sex discrimination, and class stratification.  At Graphik Xpressions it is our intention to honor and support Black women everywhere.  We hope this mirror image message empowers Black women to own their greatness and know how much they are loved and respected.
